Everyday hotels throw away millions of bars of soap. Yet across the globe thousands of children under the age of 5 die daily from hygiene related illnesses like pneumonia and diarrhea, diseases that are preventable just by handwashing with soap alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the World Health Organization, diarrheal and pneumonia, are the top two causes of deaths, killing over 2.3million children under the age of 5 years, per year. The tragedy is that these deaths are easily preventable \u2013 by hand-washing with soap. Statistics have shown that handwashing with soap alone can reduce hygiene related deaths and illnesses by 50%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
